The Uber HQ project created a vibrant, modern office space spanning two levels at 580 George St in the heart of the CBD. Despite the challenge of working within an occupied building, the project delivered an exceptional fitout tailored to the needs of this leading technology company.
Designed to foster collaboration, the open-plan layout features hot desks, various breakout spaces, focus rooms, meeting rooms, and a training area. An acoustically rated glass operable wall separates the dining area from the main reception, offering flexibility for large functions. An interconnecting staircase seamlessly links the two levels, enhancing accessibility and connectivity.
Drawing inspiration from Sydney’s coastal vibe, the design incorporates elements of beach aesthetics, evident in the color palette, light timber finishes, and concrete floors reminiscent of beach pathways. Ample natural light floods the space, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere conducive to productivity and creativity.
