TCP has been appointed to coordinate and manage a critical Section 34 application at the Land and Environment Court. This project follows the recent refusal of a multi-residential development application in Blakehurst.

Project Context

Our client’s initial development proposal, aimed at transforming a site in Blakehurst into a vibrant multi-residential community, was unfortunately refused. This setback has prompted the need for a Section 34 application—a procedural step designed to resolve disputes and address objections through a structured review process.

Our Role

TCP is taking the lead in navigating this complex legal and regulatory landscape. Our expert team is tasked with the coordination and management of the Section 34 application, ensuring a comprehensive and strategic approach to overcoming the challenges posed by the refusal.

Objectives

  • Expert Coordination: Oversee all aspects of the Section 34 application process, from preparation to presentation.
  • Strategic Management: Develop and implement a robust strategy to address the reasons for the initial refusal and advocate effectively on behalf of our client.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication and negotiations with key stakeholders to foster a collaborative resolution.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all submissions meet the rigorous standards of the Land and Environment Court.
  • Approval: Obtain approval determination in an efficient and effective timeframe.
